Whether you used Quicken on a Mac or a PC, importing to Banktivity takes just a few simple steps.

I just found out that QB 2005 was released. They didn't mention that when they sent me a trail for QB6 in November. Like, buy this now and be out of date in 1 week?? Perhaps I just misunderstood. Anyway, I did a trial and it imported Quicken 2003 files but put the current year on all 2003 dates.
So now it looks like QB2005 will fit the bill. I am dreading trying to import all my account data/customer data from MYOB Account Edge. There appears to be no way to do it although you can export from MYOB to tab delimited files. That would be a shoo-in for a switch to QB. Written by accountants for geeks, not average business users. It will be good not to have to use 2 programs, Quicken for expenses and MYOB for billings.
